Neue Deutsche Härte

Neue Deutsche Härte (New German Hard) is another name for what we call here German Metal. The name refers to Neue Deutsche Welle (New German Wave), a genre of German music from the 80s, mainly Pop.

Description
Neue Deutsche Härte is usually a mix of Metal and Synthesizers. It is also very influenced by Industrial music; the biggest sign of this is the common repetitive, infectious guitar riffs. The vocals are often rather low and harsh, and typical songs include a chorus where one or a few words are simply repeated. It usually sounds heavy and dark, but very danceable, thanks to the repetitive rhythm and the electronic elements.
