The Industrial genre started existing in the 80s and grew into a larger number of different genres. However, a typical sound can still be associated to purely Industrial acts.

Description
Industrial music sounds... industrial. It usually gives the impression of the bands playing in a factory, with workers behind. The bands often use a large number of elements to create percussion. The sounds created are usually sampled in order to create rhythms on a synthesizer.
